The President of the Foundation, Dr. José Miguel de Carvalho Cerqueira, made a presentation at the Conference “Reflexões sobre a Mobilidade em Portugal” ["Reflections on Mobility in Portugal"], organized by the Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa (Geographical Society of Lisbon) together with the Centro de Estudos das Migrações e das Relações Interculturais da Universidade Aberta (Center for Studies on Migration and Intercultural Relations) and with the University of British Columbia of Canada.
The presentation was entitled “Migrações em Portugal e na Europa nas Mudanças Doutrinais do Populismo” ("Migrations in Portugal and Europe, Political Doctrinal Changes and Populism”). It took place on the 21st of May 2019.
This lecture was given to the Master degree candidate students of Human Geography at the University of British Columbia, traveling in Portugal to analyze the theme of Migrations in Europe and its repercussion on the political changes that lead to Populism in Europe.
